The bearing housing was showing signs of stretching plus the bearings needed replacing. This is what i had to go through to remove the hardware. Metal was siezed together & nuts span in plastic housings, this took half a day .
Top hangers had to be sawn apart to remove threads so they could be soaked in WD40. Alum grub screws had to be drilled out & nuts had to be cut away from threads & removed in pieces.
When i fitted the new top hangers, i realised that they only had 2 threaded holes for the spring position. This looses the option for a flexible board.
I broke my Pogona at West Witterings at speed which wasn't that funny.
But a local welder & buggyer managed to weld it the next day.
